What is an EAP?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides your employees with access to independent and professional counselling, opportunity to upskill with workshops and crisis support funded by your organisation. By providing access to an EAP employers benefit from happier, healthier, and more productive employees who are better equipped to cope with everyday life and work issues.
What do you offer?
We offer individual, confidential, high quality counselling over the phone, via video chat and in person, upskill workshops, and crisis support Australia wide. All of our team members are fully registered and qualified, supporting your employees in a warm and caring environment to overcome difficulties and barriers that can hold them back at work and in life.
What does it cost?
The Hey Mate Project is committed to making EAP's accessible and affordable to all small, medium, and large organizations in the creative industries. We offer flexible options including pay as you go, flexible payment plans, quarterly installments, and yearly plans. Unlike many large EAP providers, we do not charge a registration fee.
We can tailor an EAP to meet your organization’s individual needs and budget.
What referral pathways are available?
Employees can be self-referred to access the organization’s EAP or can be referred via HR. The number of sessions accessible to the employee is also set by the employer and outlined in the EAP agreement
Is it confidential?
Trust is essential for the counselling process. We offer a highly confidential counselling service. No information will be discussed with the employer unless the employee gives consent. Counsellors may be legally bound to disclose information in some exceptional cases where there is risk to self or others.
