Hey Mate welcomes JamFactory as a new EAP partner

We’re delighted to welcome JamFactory to the Hey Mate community as a new Employee Assistance Program partner for 2026–27.

Based in Tarntanya/Adelaide on Kaurna Country, JamFactory is a leading not-for-profit organisation championing Australian craft and design. Through its studios, galleries, shops and professional development opportunities, JamFactory supports artists and designers while connecting communities with exceptional contemporary creative practice.

Like many creative organisations, JamFactory’s team works within an environment shaped by passion, collaboration, deadlines and the emotional investment that comes with creative work. Having access to support that understands these realities can make a meaningful difference.

Through the partnership, JamFactory employees will be able to access confidential mental health and wellbeing support from Hey Mate’s team of creative-industry-informed clinicians. Support is designed to meet people where they are, whether they are navigating workplace pressure, personal challenges, burnout, change or simply wanting to look after their wellbeing before things become overwhelming.

For Hey Mate, an EAP should be more than a phone number offered during a crisis. It should be approachable, preventative and genuinely relevant to the people using it. Our clinicians understand the particular pressures that can exist across arts, culture and creative workplaces, allowing employees to spend less time explaining their industry and more time receiving meaningful support.

We’re incredibly proud to partner with an organisation that plays such an important role in Australia’s craft and design community, and we look forward to supporting the JamFactory team over the year ahead.

Welcome to Hey Mate, JamFactory. We’re so happy to have you with us.
