In this course, you’ll learn how to:
Recognise common mental health challenges
Offer initial support using a practical, evidence-based Mental Health First Aid Action Plan
Respond calmly and effectively in a mental health crisis
Help someone access the right professional support
The Standard Mental Health First Aid course is suitable for people across the creative industries and the wider community. It’s ideal for anyone who supports friends, family members, colleagues, or clients, as well as health professionals working with adults who may be experiencing mental ill-health or a mental health crisis.
The Online Mental Health First Aid program covers the same content as the standard two-day face-to-face course, delivered in a flexible and accessible online format that includes:
Self-paced online eLearning
Two live, interactive online workshops
Live workshop dates:

10:00am – 12:30pm AEST (Brisbane time)

A Mental Health First Aid Manual (posted to the address you provide)
Self-paced eLearning (6 hours)
Live Online Workshop #1 (2.5 hours via Zoom)
Live Online Workshop #2 (2.5 hours via Zoom)
A Certificate of Accreditation (valid for 3 years once all components are completed)
